Australia is the hottest and driest it has ever been, according to a Bureau of Meteorology statement vindicating global warming.

A new map illustrating the global consequences of failing to keep temperature change to under 2°Celsius, shows that a global temperature rise of 4°Celsius above the pre-industrial climate average will see the land heat up more quickly than the sea, with average land temperatures of 5.5 degrees above pre-industrial levels.
